Ron Deragon Legislator Area 8 (Democrat)– Ron was elected Clinton County Legislator for the Plattsburgh Area 8 position in the November 2025 election. I have spoken to Ron many times as he is a really nice guy who did his homework prior to running for his position. He indicated he does support a dog tethering law. We are interested to see if he will stand up for us when we go back to the Clinton County Legislature again in the Spring of 2026.
