Clinton County New York Dog Tethering Law Campaign

DON’T WAIT FOR “SOMEONE” TO STOP ANIMAL ABUSE. YOU ARE SOMEONE.

BEEKMANTOWN

Back in April 2024 the Town of Beekmantown board voted and agreed that they do see a need for a town Dog Tethering Law. Board members agreed that dogs should not spend their entire lives on a chain. Beekmantown’s town supervisor Sam Dyer however, is against both a county and a town law despite town residents asking for one. Sam Dyer lobbied Dave Bezio the county legislator hard to ensure the law did not pass at the county. Please attend a town meeting, make a call, and ask Sam Dyer and the other board members for a Dog Tethering Law in Beekmantown.

Cell: (518) 561-0473. Sam Dyer is completely against a Dog Tethering Law and is a Farm Bureau board member. He has done all he can to ensure we do not pass a county or town law. Meanwhile dogs in Clinton County remain on chains 24/7.

Town Board Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. with the exception of Holidays.
