Clinton County New York Dog Tethering Law Campaign

DON’T WAIT FOR “SOMEONE” TO STOP ANIMAL ABUSE. YOU ARE SOMEONE.

SCHUYLER FALLS

The Town of Schuyler Falls/Morrisonville passed their Dog Tethering Law on January 14th, 2026. The town board does not believe they have any chained dogs in Schuyler Falls, but two days after the law was passed, I received a message from a town resident concerned about two dogs. Their law does not stop 24/7 dog tethering, but the town has agreed that down the road they may decide to amend their law. Please scroll down to view the Town of Schuyler Falls Dog Tethering Law.
